what the future could be..

have u ever watched Commander in Chief? its a series that is now being aired on Hallmark.. i wouldnt b surpried if u havent because it aint as popular (i think?) as Heroes n the likes.. BUT since i was bored, n there was no other shows on TV.. i decided to give it a go...

now.. im really no person to talk about politics n anything related to it.. but this show caught me attention because the person who is the president of the U.S.A is a woman! aha.. :)

so its really interesting to watch how she works as a president - intelligent, very strong in her decisions, yet understanding towards those who serve her. she is also a wife and a mother to 2 teens. its amazing how she manages to maintain her family plus its a blessing for her to have a husband who is really supportive of her post as the president while he takes the back bench being her supporter. not an everyday thing we see nowdays dont we? he's pretty much the husband any woman wants lah.. supportive, understanding, loving, plus he threw her a wonderful surprise bday party even though she would have been happy with just celebrating it with her family. now, this is why i like the husband's role, cuz it is written so well that people dont think of him as a weaker one, but someone who knows his role and they complement each other really well :)

*i've only watched 2 episodes so far..so i dont knw how d story turns out 2 be! dont blame me for anything that happens in future episodes!*

so u probly thinking im gone over the moon cuz this is all fictional, yeah true its fictional.. but to me this is HOPE. after seeing this year's election, America has shown us what is posible..if a colored man can win people's hearts and be the president, why not a woman?

so it is possible.. and maybe this series is a way of showing poeple that it can happen and hopefully when it does they dont get too shocked!
